Quantity tiers differ for each group of metals — the exact values (e.g. "50+ kg", "1–50 kg", "<1 kg") are shown in the header row of every category. For steel scrap, impurities from 2% of the weight are deducted in line with the Polish PN-85/H-15000 standard.

What determines the buying price?

  1. The type and purity of the metal — the higher the grade and the fewer contaminants (lacquer, insulation, another metal, soil), the higher the price.
  2. Current market quotation — non-ferrous metal prices follow LME quotations. Metals are priced in USD, so the dollar exchange rate affects the price too.
  3. Quantity — a larger volume means a better price. The price list has 3 tiers, and for container quantities the valuation is individual.
